Escape the Ordinary
Our Story
Beginning in 2000, our properties are diverse and creative which can both stimulate and renew. It is about luxury and style, and importantly about a tasteful and authentic experience.
You should be having the space to enjoy at your own pace. Let us look after you instinctively and discreetly, during your stay as long as you want.
We offer beautiful coastline and beach, delicious and varied cuisine, culture and countryside, history and heritage. Diverse destinations, nothing is generic.
Each hotel has less than 10 bedrooms, all are individually styled. Each has a different design, history, architecture and age. All have previously been somebody’s home, with stories to tell.
You will never be far from nature. Our respect for the environment and sustainability go hand in hand with a small hotel. We respect our local communities, you can connect with them too.
Founder of Manor House Concepts Tim Jacobson adds: “ We are passionate about creating authentic and memorable experiences which match our mission. That a trip to Sri Lanka is a journey of diverse, original and still novel adventures. There may be common threads to our hotels and service, but each is intentionally not like the other “
